Vehicle Overview

I bought this jeep in 1980 brand new. It has never seen a Michigan winter. It is primarily driven at Silver Lake Sand Dunes ORV area and Silver Lake Sand Drag in Mears, Michigan. The body is all original other than the fiberglass hood. Has a 1971 Chevy 400 small block. It's a 13.5:1 compression. It has a Crower camshaft, part #454; RHS cyclinder heads; 235 intake runner; 2.10 intake value; angle plug; has a 940 cfm Holly dominator ( 24 years later and its worn out ) ; 410 gears front and rear with a Ford 9 in the back ; has a 4500 stall converter with trans break; custom NRHA roll bar ....

Future Plans

Installing new Holly EFI hopefully to gain performance and horsepower. I am old school, 66 years old certified mechanic for the last 45 years. It is hard to go from a carburetor to EFI. I am hoping I will be a happy camper and I did love my Holly carburetor that I have had for 25 years.
