Vehicle Overview

The C50 was a grain truck from Ohio. The frame was cut behind the cab and a 92 TopKick frame was added for the single leaf suspension and the 10 lug rear. The 327 was removed for a 6.2 Detroit Diesel and a NV4500 5 Speed. The front axle is from a Frieghtliner and the truck has large 4 wheel disk brakes. Hydroboost powers the brakes with a modern C3500 master. Front fenders were graphed into a standard long bed. Two running board were welded together for a full fender look. Holes were punched in the running boards and the hood with screen behind them. The interior dash pad was deleted and dash smoothed with a double din radio added along with AC vents. The standard bench was recovered with orange houndsthooth material. The color inside and out is 69 Camaro Hugger Orange

Future Plans

Power Steering comes next, not really needed once rolling but will be nice when stopped. I have the 80's box just need to do it.
