Vehicle Overview

This is my 1969 Dart Swinger. It started life as a slant 6 auto car. My father and I started building it when I was a junior in high school. He has since passed from cancer and is considered a family heirloom to me. Motor is a .40 over 440HP2 spec build. Factory forged crank, rods and pistons. Mild port/polish 906 casting heads. Mopar purple shaft 292/509 cam, Mopar M1 intake, Holley 750 modified by AED, MSD billet distributor, blaster 2 coil, 6AL box. 727 trans shifted by a B&M shifter, Cheetah manual valve body, mopar deep trans pan. 9” Ford diff 4.11 spool Centerline Telstar wheels Mickey Thompson rubber Caltracs rear suspension w/ QA1 shocks all around Minitubs, Mopar inboard spring relocation kit, curb weight 3100lbs with driver. Car is street driven to the track and best time so far is 11.9 I know there is more in it with tuning.

Future Plans

Car needs an entire rewire. Would like to eventually 3rd gen Hemi swap it. Maybe if I win the Holley hemi engine sweepstakes it could happen soon!

I'd like to see a picture of the engine and know how you shoehorned it in. Mine is a 3:40 and not much room around with the headers
