Vehicle Overview

Originally a 99 4cyl manual truck. It's been converted to a bored out 6.0L LQ4 displacing 6.2L. Full forged internals with higher compression heads. A Holley EFI intake, fuel rails, larger injectors, and a 92mm throttle body added recently. Stage 6 4L70E trans in place of original 5 spd manual trans. A custom high strength driveshaft has been added. A rebuilt GM 8.5 axle replaced the worn out stock 7.5 axle. Full tubular suspension up front from QA1 with 1" lowering springs. Rear axle has been treated with a locker and caltracs bars. Stock corvette wheels have been fitted for added traction.

Future Plans

Upgrade the rear axle to a Ford 9" or fabricated unit from Moser axle. Possibly a 4-link suspension for the rear. Upgrade front brakes to 6 piston caliper with larger rotors. Lots of body work to have this truck fully complete with new paint. A larger LS7 is planned for the truck next summer if time permits. There's really not much else I can replace. This build has cost a touch over $18,000 to date. Every part has been replaced from the ground up.
