  • Vehicle Overview

1970 Chevy Chevelle Malibu sport coupe. My Father bought this car for me in 1985 when I was 16 for $25 and a motorcycle helmet. Factory equipped with a L48 350, TH350, console/bucket seats, dual exhaust, 12 bolt posi and Rally wheels. Original paint was Tuxedo black and interior was black. Built in KC and shipped to Seattle, WA. The car had a lot of rust and water leaks in some areas. This August of 2020, 35 years after I got the car, we swapped out the small block for a 555 big block - 700 hp 680TQ. Dart Big M block, Pro One heads and manifold, Howard’s Roller Cam w/680” lift, Scorpion rockers, Holley Terminator X Max EFI, Holley EFI conversion fuel tank, MSD distributor, American Racing stainless headers with 3” pipes and Flowmaster Delta Flow 40 mufflers and Griffin radiator.. Rear end is an Eaton posi w/4.11’s. Rear tires are MT 295/55/15 drag radials, wheels are polished Centerline Auto Drags, Hotchkis rear control arms and sway bar and QA1 front coil overs. The interior is TMI Sport R with ACC cut pile carpet. The original glass was replaced with gray glass. A new 4L80E trans w/3000 stall was also installed.
