Vehicle Overview
1970 Chevy Chevelle Malibu sport coupe. My Father bought this car for me in 1985 when I was 16 for $25 and a motorcycle helmet. Factory equipped with a L48 350, TH350, console/bucket seats, dual exhaust, 12 bolt posi and Rally wheels. Original paint was Tuxedo black and interior was black. Built in KC and shipped to Seattle, WA. The car had a lot of rust and water leaks in some areas. This August of 2020, 35 years after I got the car, we swapped out the small block for a 555 big block - 680 hp 695 TQ. Dart Big M block, Pro One heads and manifold, Howard’s Roller Cam w/680” lift, Scorpion rockers, Holley Super Sniper EFI, MSD distributor, American Racing stainless headers with 3” pipes and Spintech 9000 Super Street mufflers and Griffin radiator.. Rear end is an Eaton posi w/4.11’s. Tires are MT 295/55/15 drag radials, Hotchkis rear control arms and sway bar. The interior is TMI Sport R with ACC cut pile carpet. This year I also had the original glass replaced with gray glass.
