  • Vehicle Overview

1972 Datsun 240Z with ford 302 dyno'd at 353 hp and 337 ft-lbs torque. It has a high performance Z code T-5 five speed with cobra clutch and pressure plate and an aluminum flywheel with scattershield. Rear differential is a 3:70 gear 300zx R200 positraction unit with turbo CV axles (picture shows previous u-joint axles which eventually broke). Front brakes are 300zx vented rotors with Toyota forerunner, 4 piston calipers. Rear brakes where converted from drum brakes to discs with Nissan maxima calipers and brembo rotors. Suspension is Technotoytuning coilover with Koni shocks and urethane bushings, SST sway bars front and back. Wheels are 16 x 8 with 225 50 16 tires. The car weighs about 2500 lbs. (the ford engine with aluminum heads and intake weighs about 40 lbs. less than the original datsun 6 cylinder). The car is a toyota white with silver racing stripes. It has a red and black interior with roll bar. I've owned the car for 20 years and have slowly fixed, upgraded and restored the car.

    Future Plans

The car has a holley 670 street avenger carburetor and I would eventually like to convert it to fuel injection.
