Vehicle Overview
I purchased this car in 2002 and sold it to a friend in 2004. He spent 3 years having a shop replace every piece of sheet metal (although most was not needed). The car was then parked in a trailer for 13 years. My friend sold It once during that time period, but never left the trailer or storage location and eventually repurchased the car with the intent of finishing the project. I went to see my friend's new barn in 2019 and saw my old Chevelle shell sitting there in primer. I commented I would love to have that car back again. A few months passed and my friend approached me stating he would sell the car back to me. I purchased the car in November 2019 and my son (Hayden) and I began working on putting the car back together. A year later the car is nearly complete with every nut, bolt and component replaced or refurbished. The car has a Skip White Performance 505 crate engine with Holley Sniper fuel injection which was tuned by Skip White with 620HP and 617lbf. The car has a UMI 2" lowered suspension package, Wilwood disc brakes at all four corners, Dakota digital gauges, Munci 4 speed and a 12 bolt 3:55 posi rear end with a custom 3" exhaust system complete with power cut outs. Terry Finley is responsible for the great body and paint work as well as rewiring the car with the American Autowire harness. It was a great project to work on with my son.
