Installed is a rebuilt LQ4 6.0L. The block, pistons, rods and crank were sent to a local machine shop for cleaning, polishing, and installation of new cam bearings. The engine was rebuilt using all new gaskets, bearings and piston rings (gapped for boost) along with ARP rod bolts, main studs and head bolts. A melling high volume oil pump was installed along with an LS2 timing chain and dampener. A Texas Speed 233/239 cam was installed along with dual rate springs with titanium retainers, new valve seals, hardened pushrods, LS7 lifters and a BTR trunnion upgrade. The engine is connected to a rebuilt 4l65e transmission. The engine and trans are controlled using a Holley Terminator XMAX.
In the future I plan to turbo the car. Haven't decided if I'll go single or twin turbo. Only time will see.
