It was time...

I own a 2010 Dodge Laramie with a hemi. After 11 years, the stock exhaust finally rotted to the point where it needed to be replaced. Decision was, stick to a somewhat stock (direct fit) setup, or upgrade. I chose to upgrade. And I chose a product that I know is seriously proven. But to upgrade, this would require some new plumbing (rotted as in rear of muffler and both tailpipes - including stock tips). So along with the new Super 40 409S muffler, a new 3 inch extension pipe was installed, a pair of new 2 1/2 inch tail pipes were installed. And went with a much larger than stock rolled chrome tips. Upon initial startup, I was all smiles. THAT is how a hemi should sound. Driving the truck around, it is slightly louder than the stock setup was. That is in normal everyday driver mode folks. I can hear the wife talking to me with the windows down. Hear the radio without having to crank it up. However, get down on that gas pedal, it is much louder, and defined. Would I install this same muffler again? Absolutely without hesitation!
