They didn’t test the time enough for releasing it

I bought a brand new 2019 raptor and the Diablo i3 tuber they came out with for it. It’s been three weeks of testing and the techs still have not figured out the problem and have me doing data logging for them to make the tube work. Making my truck go to failed over and over again hurting the engine. The tune is not ready for the public yet.

I used this to put a tune in my 2016 ford focus st. The only modification is a ram air setup. The 93 tune supplied with the i3 made the car feel like a wild animal. The car is begging to be beat on now and the tires always want to smoke!;) ! I still want to learn how to make changes to the tune which I thought I could. that is why I did not give it a 5 star. However this may just be my inexperience with tuners and lack of time to dedicate to fiddling with it.

I'm really happy with the improvements the i3 Platinum made to my F150. The throttle response is much better, the shifting is decisive, and the power is fantastic. Peak boost went from 14 PSI stock on my Ecoboost to 21 PSI, and the torque pull is so much fun it makes me giggle. MPG Boost mode bumped me up 6 miles/gal also. Love it!

I have bought and used Diablo products for my vehicles in the past, but hard to drop $500 on a product that you don’t give any performance stats. Maybe they are buried deeper within the site, that might be worth talking to your IT dept to bring forward as I am not going g to dig through your site to find information on a product that isn’t displayed on the page for said product. You can either make money from me, or not..

You can feel the difference right away. I just wished it came preloaded with more tune options. IE, I tried to run my 91 octane tune with a 3 bar map sensor to increase boost. Car wouldn't run. I had to get a custom tune for this setup.

Doesn't live up to what they say

I've been using Diablo for a long time. I traded in my three position tuner which I was getting 17 mpg with. The I3 platinum drop-down to 15.1 mpg. It does not perform any way near what they say it does. I was going to upgrade again to the new gauges. But now I'm having second thoughts about that. Their program quality has dropped.

I bought this about a month ago and been testing the different tunes on my 2013 F150 EcoBoost truck. After installing 35 inch tires and long travel suspension I really felt like I needed something to get my truck back to its former glory as far as grunt. This little tuner was the best money I spent on my truck, wow it really woke her up. Now I call it EcoRoost and I actually get better gas mileage then before the tune.

I have a airaid cold air intake, long headers, y-pipe, into magna flow muffler with finish off in duals. Will the I3 Platinum tuner work for me? My truck also burns a little rich. Will I be able to correct this also? Thanks

Have programmed my 2013 F-150 3.5L ECOBOOST using the canned TOW Tune (87 octane). Nice increases in torque and HP. Really wish it came with an 89 octane tune as that is the fuel of choice for me. Mixing 89 and 93 to get 91 octane (another canned tune included) is a pain in the butt. A CMR tune is not an option, too expensive for my basic mods. Common fuel tunes (87,89, & 93) should be included, you would think.

I purchased this tuner for my 2016 F150 2.7 Ecoboost, it is by far the best money I've spent on performance upgrades. The dyno does not lie! My stock Ford put down 313 HP 340 TQ with a CAI and 4" catback on 93 Octane. Respectable for minor bolt-ons. I was running a 15.10 Quarter mile @96 MPH. After Diablosport sent me this i3 Tuner with their canned 93 Octane Performance tunes, I took it to the dyno shop again and got a whopping 366 HP and 382 TQ at the rear wheels!!! That's a 53 HP and 42 TQ gain at the wheels. I now run a 13.79 Quarter mile @101 MPH... Awesome! If you have the 2.7 Ecoboost, I recommend you buy this right now. Thanks Diablosport!

BAD TUNE

Vehicle was running great, added the tune and started missing and popping misfire and crankcase pressure codes...ended up having to replace crankcase sensor, plugs, and coil packs to get it to run normal again.. then even tried to add tune back just to see and it stated missing again like crazy... Trying to get my money back now and cant get customer service to reply..took like 5 days initially to respond by email and of course they said "probably a vehicle issue".

Most of features are inaccessible to end user

I just received my 8145 and only a couple of features can be changed which are the tire size and ratio. The rest of the advertised features are inaccessible for my 2019 Mustang GT, as speed limiter, rev limiter, cooling fan control, etc. Support is null, I have tried to communicate by all means and there is no answer.

Big Problems at High End - Currently Unreliable

Pushing my F150 close to its limits causes my dashboard to light up like a video game. It appears the firing sequence trips at some point in Diablo's tuning, This causes the truck to drop into safe mode and shuts off the turbos. This is the last thing I want from my truck, Lame Support team is below average

I purchased this tuner for my 2017 3.5 ecoboost. The tune loaded without problem but when I turned on the engine, I received numerous error messages. Even worse, the truck won’t even try to start. A call to support (over 90 mins on hold) they said the ECU had to be sent to them for reprogramming. The return process was fast and easy. Received the ECU back today and the error messages are still there and truck will not start. I’ve never had any problems with the truck until now and it only has 11,000 miles so not like it’s old. I’m writing this while I’m on hold with support. So far 37 mins and no answer. What a f’ing joke. Stay away from this place.

Purchased this for added MPG not only did I get better mileage and performance, the truck seems to drive better all the way around. The out of the box tune for my ecoboost f150 on 87 octane fuel made drastic differences. I am ready to see how much it improves when raising the octane level. great product!

Allows for adjustments of gears and tires

Used this to replace another tune because it provides for adjustments for changing gears and tires size, one draw back, throttle response, is close to stock, my other tune rocked on throttle response, guess you have to make adjustments for ease of use.

Tuning my 2017 Mustang, the cold air intake tunes, there aren't any K&N cold air tunes. Ok, no problem, but the standard tune doesn't have any throttle response in 4th gear, under normal driving. Run it hard and 4th is there. 2018 F150 tunes are great, except that now it throws a speed sensor code and an oxygen sensor code. Both vehicles have the 5.0 in them. I have called them three times because I cannot find a custom tuner out there that writes tunes for Diablosport. If you get someone to answer the phone, they say they sell their products, but don't write tunes for them. They claim their tuning software is too antiquated to write tune for.

NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE

I bought this 2 days ago and installed it this morning. Immediately I notice a big difference in power and acceleration. I had already installed a MF exhaust and a Spectre performance Air intake so this really added to what I had. The Ecoboost comes to life from a standing start, spinning the tires and squealing in the process. When that subsides the truck really takes off fast. I still playing with the tuner so I will be reporting back but as of now I am very satisfied with they way the tuner has added to my truck.

2013 FX4 Ecoboost max tow with upgraded turbos, intercooler and AMS flanges: I threw in the 91 octane tune (our highest rated is 92) and immediately felt quicker throttle and turbo response. As for MPG, I’ve gained over 2 mpg average. My pickup handles inclines better as well. I highly recommend the Diablosport i3 Platinum.
