Great tuner!

This is my second Diablosport tuner. The first was the turquoise one I brought for a 99 mustang GT I had. With that one, I really didn't feel much difference, probably because the car already had a lot of power, but with this In Tune i3, I definitely feel a difference. Iit didn't turn my cruze into a corvette, but it did give it a noticeable power bump. I can cruise up steep freeway hills in overdrive now and I have passing power that I did not have before. I am lighter on the throttle that I used to be to drive the same speed. I do notice it burns more gas than before, but I kind of expected that with a power tuner. This is a must have for the Chevy Cruze.

I bought this a month ago and it was a complete waste of my money. It has cool features but when even getting through changing most parameters to your liking you really don't get anywhere with performance, it actually made my truck throw a Post Catalyst Fuel Too Rich ECM code. Only thing I enjoyed was being able to turn off AFM the stupid v4 mode my truck has, otherwise f this product.

I got this a couple weeks ago and it was amazing after doing the tunei felt more torque and hp from my car the shifts were alot firmer than ever super super awesomr i tuned my 5th gen chevy camaro its fast at tuning less than a minute per tune

Purchased tuner about a month ago for my 2008 gmc vortec max and it woke up the truck immediately! Improved throttle response, shifting and gas mileage. Was so impressed, I purchased separate license for my wife’s 6.2l SUV. Very happy with purchase and great technical support!

Works good to disable DOD/AFM and adjust for tire size. Loading tunes is very straight forward. Any of the preloaded tunes absolutely destroy fuel mileage, with very little performance over the stock tune (comparing to 87 octane tune). the ability to adjust trans shift points is nice though. I was expecting a slight drop in trade for the "performance", but not 8mpg. I might try again in the summer to see if maybe the tunes just don't like winter blend fuel.

Intune i3 for GM

Bought to delete AFM / DOD on ‘09 Tahoe, ended up putting the 87 octane tune with firm shift....really helped it out...much more fun to drive and definitely helped the lame shifting 6 speed...like a different vehicle now. Added a license for my Suburban, technical support was great on that part. Very pleased with this tuner!

Bought it to disable AFM/DOD on a 2012 Escalade. Worked as advertised. You can mess around with the transmission firmness, torque management and CAGS "skipping freon 1st to 4th gear under light throttle " I'm using the "Diablo tune" not sure how much performance that's giving me, I tried the 93octane I had 93 rated gas from wawa (a local gas station) and knocked when I mashed the pedal. I put the diablo tune and it didn't knock. I just got shell gas and im going to try the 93 again. You can also mess around with the cooling fans. They advertise spark and fuel management I couldn't find that option anywhere.

Got this about 3 weeks ago. Took a little bit to get it everything plugged in but it was simple enough. 87 Octane Tune with firm shift, changed wheel size made a huge difference in the feel of my truck. Got back 3.1 L/100km from the lift/ wheel size change.

Beginning features easy to use

I bought this a little more than a month ago and had engine codes when it was first used. went thru an update tried a few more same. but the last time I seemed to put in a Diablo program for performace and mileage so far no problems. I am going to give the 93 octane tune again and see what happens since. I have not had an engine light for a long time.

DOD Delete

It did improve performance and eliminate the DOD. Changing the valley cover to a non-AFM does give you a "Check Enging" light. Would be nice to eliminate that.

I bought mines over a month ago and while I have only used the 87 tune and turned off my afm it’s a huge difference the truck doesn’t lag back and forth with the gears and my gas mileage is not bad I did a six hour trip from Ms toTx and I got 15.4 the entire trip I’m happy with it and I also have 24” wheels on my truck I love it and can’t wait to play with it some more on the truck

The reason this tune doesn’t get 5 stars is because if you have a 17+ Silverado you need to buy an extra license for an extra amount to tune the truck and there is no where in the description that says that, After the tune is bought is when they hit you with the “buy this license”. The updating software/system is terrible I had to call support 2 times for them to get my tune serial number and manually update my tuner through their end because the updater wouldn’t work. Other than that the tuner is good and easy to use as far as tuning the vehicle. Newer trucks won’t have any power difference right off the bat, drive the truck about 15-20 miles then you will start really feeling the tune kicking in.

Had it installed for 2 weeks on my 06 GTO 6.0L and felt no difference at all. Only change is I went from 19 mpg to 12 mpg with no change in driving habits or conditions. Removed the tune and it runs better. There is no way to customize the tune yourself besides changing the idle and a couple small things. I have full exhaust from long tube headers back with an aftermarket intake and hoped for a huge difference like Cobb does. But, no. It plugs in and uploads and adds gobbs of timing. That’s it. You can data log and send that to a custom tuner if you wanna pay More money for that. I’m currently selling mine and going to get a real dyno tune for real results. Don’t waste your money.

I wish I would have known about this product before I bought My Range AFM disabler. I paid to much for that one function. The i3 has so many more abilities and you don't have to leave it plugged in. I have so far only ran the 87 octane setting and the hard shift TCM setting with AFM shut off and recalibrated the tire size.

I bought this unit for my 2005 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT 5.3L truck which is primarily used as a tow vehicle. I started using 91 octane prior to the tuner arriving but the tank still had some 87 in it, so I installed the 87 Octane tune. It seems to have increased my throttle response and towing easier. I will be upping to the 91 Octane tune in a couple of tankfuls.

Sort of disappointed with the device. I have installed a few different tunes and just don’t see the results. I’ve looked a bit online for some of the other tunes and it seems a whole lot for nothing really recognizable.

I've been running this tuner on my 2017 Silverado and by god it works. Decided to go with the diablo tune and run 91 octane, a little extra to fill the tank, but I'm getting nearly 500 miles on one tank with a 5.3l V8. Couldn't be happier with this device.

nothing on this tuner worked to expectation. not even the tire size/speedometer correction. now i know why other programmers cost more..... they must work going to be returning it. hopefully i get a refund and my ECU doesn't have any issues from this down the line.....

I loaded the 87 octane tune, hard shift, DOD off, on a 2010 Chevrolet Suburban 4x4, 5.3 Liter. The vehicle is so much more responsive. Gas milage is about the same as before. I do not understand why the OEM tunes the vehicle the way they do!

Chevy 2500hd 6.0 gas. Got the programmer mostly for gas mileage. With 35s with factor tune was getting 11mpg after the mpg booster tune running 89 octane got me up to 13.5 mpg. Has a little pick up in power

Still playing with it. Need to see if a cold air intake will make the gains better. But overall the 93 octane tune seems pretty good. Would like to see more from the 87 octane though.

Bad from the very beginning. Ordered on a Thursday evening and paid for overnight shipping. Received the device the following Monday, at the least I expected it saturday. Definitely need my shipping charges refunded. However I left town that Monday, I am now back home on the following Saturday and I'm very excited to use this new toy. I follow the quick start guide, perform update searches while connected to home pc. Every time I did an update it found the same updates, ok??? So I connect it to my vehicle and I'm unable to tune and get the following message " two or more ECU's need updated, please connect i3 to ignition and perform" ok ignition? you mean OBDll. So I try to update again just like I did while in the house connected to the pc. Now it does not find anymore updates, so maybe it is up to date now. but I still can not tune the vehicle. What needs to be updated (ECU, IGNITION). Come on..... this much money and I cant use it right out of the box, really!!!!!!! Of course not open on Saturdays for support, i will try again. If goes well i will update this review.

Bought this for a little more power and mainly better furl mileage after adding 37s. Went from 9 back to 12 mpg and gained some low end torque. Pretty pleased with the canned tune. Havent tried running the diablo tune yet i always run 87

Improved engine performance

I installed the GM firm shift tune in my 2013 Camaro SS. I immediately noticed an improvement in acceleration as I went through the gears. I have since installed the hard shift tune it gives me a better driving experience. I went to my GM dealership the other day for service. I installed the original backup and after the service I sat in their lot and downloaded the hardshift 93 octane tune and drove home. Best purchase I have made in a long time. I bought this to turn of the DOD on my 2014 5.3. It did what it was supposed to and was pretty easy to do. I also changed some other parameters and I am overall pleased with this unit.

Bought it for my 05 GMC envoy nowhere in there website did it say it was not gonna work with the vehicle. after calling technical support they told me it was not compatible with my vehicle. So I tried it on my Chevy 1500 which it worked but was very let down of the results did not feel a huge difference almost felt the same after taking it off.

Bought unit to wake up my stock 2013 C6 Grand Sport. It did the trick. Turned off the AFM, did Diablo tune, removed speed limiter, adjusted throttle, and firmed up tranny shifts. Car runs better. Also,surprisingly, gets better mpg. I'm happy with results.

I recently purchased the i3 for my 2016 midnight edition LTZ to eliminate the active fuel management and speed limiter in my 5.3. I also added the 87 octane tune that came with the product. I have to say I'm very pleased with the results. Great product to buy and easy to use for what I needed it for. I'd recommend this product.

I’ve had this for about 5 weeks. I have to easy tune 91 octane in it. The truck shifts amazing now and definitely has a overall power increase. I have a k&n CAI and a single MBRP stainless exhaust. Also really wanted to turn off the afm on the truck and that was easy to do.

Sport tuning made easy

Been wanting a ca legal option for tuning for both our 07 Suburban and 02 Corvette. After working with tech support to get the updates to firmware I was good to go. Suburban idles better, shirts set to firm, disabled AFM, calibrated speedo to correct rim and tire size, went with Diablo tune power and torque is improved and mpg is up also. Real world improvements on our daily drivers, that keep them streetable and legal, with an edge up on above factory performance. Will be getting the license for the corvette next

I bought this tuner for my 2015 Silverado with the 5.3. I chose this particular tuner because it saves the factory tune. I tuned it with the 87 octane tune. Tuning was step-by-step and easy. It did freeze once during the tune but I unplugged then replugged and it continued. Gas mileage about 1 mpg better, but I did notice more power and torque. Also I turned off the AFM.

Bought tuner and was skeptical about it. Decided to tune my 14 Silverado and was amazed the way it turned out. Canceled the DOD and truck still gets over 22mpg on highway. Added a lift and bigger tires today, easily was able to put new tire size in for the speedo...works great!

I bought this a few weeks ago primarily to shut of the AFM but was also excited to improve the transmission. Works great. Have only seen about a 1mpg drop since turning off AFM. Transmission shifts so much better and odesn't hunt nearly as badly. Tuning took 5 minutes.

Well I’ve put 500 miles on it. 2015 Yukon 5.3L, installed the Diablo tune and no trans tune. Runs nice! No codes no issues. It woke up the truck nicely. It was a slug before, now she doesn’t need the wind behind it to get going. It’s not like adding a turbo, but it sure adds a nice touch of power increase to where it’s not such a heavy slow slug

i have a 2017 chevy silverado 5.3 6 speed trans I have had nothing but problems with this device when i first got it it was frozen on the screen, called tech support 4 times took the 4th time for someone to actually help me and get it unfrozen the second time i called a guy hung up on me. now my problem is whenever i click on the dod/afm on/off it just freezes the whole device so now i cant turn off AFM which was the whole reason i got the device. i have had a lot of different tuning devices on multiple vehicles and never had this problem. Other then that the tune is slightly better then stock. And does offer a Scan tool built in which is pretty nice

I bought this a month ago and so far the diablosport woke up my 2003 Chevy Tahoe 4.8L V8! This device is a complete upgrade compared to the Intune i2 and the WiFi feature is amazing you can just connect to your WiFi, update it and its good to go! I uploaded the 91 tune to my truck since 93 isn’t available in California and it sucks that due to the CARB regulations you can’t upload custom tunes but it is a completely different vehicle. It gained throttle response, the shifts are a lot more firm, the truck feels better than ever before! Definitely Recommend buying this product you won’t be disappointed. Customer service is always available their reps will stay in touch with you and guide you every step of the way. Email or phone call they have a great customer service team! I was not paid to write this review i took my time to write it and i upgraded from intune i2 and have to say that the i3 is on a different level.

I received my inTune i3 as expected, the packaging was well done and all of the contents were inside. I was expecting to find tuning instructions that would be a little more complicated than what I encountered after reading the straight forward, easy to follow instructions. I haven't put my car on a Dyno yet, but the FEEL of my car seems different in a good way, it feels like my car's overall power & performance got kicked up a couple of notches !

It was easy to install. I have a 2008 suburban, bought the programer to improve mpg. I have only tried the 87 tune with firm shift. The engine seems to run better, stronger and the shifts are a little firmer overall it's great! I am going on a trip and I am going to see if the mileage improved? I will update everyone when I get back but based on the current improvement I think it's going to be better

Even though I bought the wrong model, because I wanted to shut off AFM/DOD they were able to upgrade it online in minutes since I live in a free state. Super customer service. Did the basic "Driveability tune" in addition to AFM delete. I love it. I don't drive in town much, and my gas mileage went up. Superb product and customer service!

Really wakes a truck up!

I received my tuner about a month ago and tried the 85 octane tune. I saw an amediate difference in my truck. I have an 2011 chevy silverado with the 4.8L and it was a dog off the line Afraid to pull out into traffic slow off the line. I ended up going to the 89 octane tune and firm shift, it has made a huge difference even on my all stock truck. I am extremely happy with the diablo tuner! Before I got it I was actually looking at trading my truck off for one with a bigger engine. BTW, even with more power I seem to be getting better gas mileage.

So i bought this with the intent to turn off AFM and do some trans tuning. It was a "fun" suprise when it wouldnt tune out the box before or after updated it. I had to pay a additional $50 to get the vin unlocked from diablosport. Then when i put in the tune i did notice a different from the 93 octane tune. The website advertised 8 speed tuning. But the device had no transmission tuning.

Just purchased intune i3 for my '11 GMC Sierra with 5.3L, 6sp auto, 4x4. very important to update tuner before you plug into truck to ensure you get latest and greatest. Took 5 min to update on wifi. I plugged it into my truck and followed the instructions. Took another 5 min to download tune to truck. Not as easy to find how to disable AFM/DoD and remove speed limiter but i figured it out. I chose this product based on feedback on blogs and customer reviews from local guys that used this tuner. So far, I'm happy!

I have 2016 Silverado 5.3 and my main thing to do was turn off the V4 option and my truck feels like a real truck. HP is better and depending on what programs you use a big difference and how it runs.
