Every year Bill Akin brings a beautiful piece of automotive racing history that is totally unique to the Holley NHRA Hot Rod Reunion and this year he brought his 1962 Indianapolis roadster that he restored in the basement of his home in Hermitage Tennessee.

Richard Sexton brought out his 1955 Pro Street Metropolitan that he along with his son and a close friend restored/built from the ground up. I don't know about you, but I rarely see a Nash, and when I do, it usually doesn't sound like this one!

While some automotive enthusiasts are on a mission to have cleanest of rides, that goes against the grain of what a lot of car guys love to own/drive. Take El Palomo for example, Bruce King’s 1959 El Camino. A rare sight in its own rite, Bruce proudly drives his Elky to car shows all over the place, including the Holley Hot Rod Reunion. From the long sweeping body and large grille to the Holley/Hooker stickers and natural patina, we absolutely dig it!
