LS 408 Stroker

By: Randy 06/27/2022

I came across 2 LS7 4" stroke crankshafts. After reselling one of them, the one I keep cost me $5. The aluminum 6.0L block I found cost me $100. So I decided to build a 408 stroker. I used DSS Racing forged pistons that were quit a bit lighter than the stock LS7 pistons and I used Eagle light weight H beam rods. My bob weight was just over 1600g so balancing was not to dificult. A little heavy metal had to be added. In the fall of 2022 I will pull out the 6.2L and switch the short blocks.
