This was all one shot so I screwed some things up as I blabbered through this.

1. VVT = Variable Valve Timing (I said tech)

2. The Holley mid mount accessories runs off of the LT style water pump (not off the alternator).

3. My fuel pump situation. I burned up a stock pump last summer which may be due to the Corvette fuel filter/regulator combo. I replaced it with another stock pump but I'm switching to a nicer Aeromotive filter/regulator and stealth 325 pump.

Doing the filter/regulator at same time because the corvette filter/regulator combo is known to get blown out and not maintain pressure and burn up larger than stock pumps fast. So I got it running with a new stock pump but getting things together to upgrade. Also that Stealth 325 pump is a little smaller than the 340 walbro style pump and will easily work in the stock tank and location inside the bucket/hanger assembly.
