2000 Tahoe Limited The 2000 Tahoe Limited (and AWD Z71) were the last of the OBS/GMT400 after they changed over to the GMT800 for trucks in 1999 and Tahoes/Suburbans in 2000. The Tahoe Limited was basically a civilian version of the OBS 4 door RWD police Tahoe. It only came in black with blacked-out trim and grill, lowered an extra inch with a bigger swaybar, Bilstein shocks, ground effects skirts, and 16" aluminum Ronal wheels (had mine coated black. Only a couple thousand were made. It was supposed to be called the Tahoe SS but I guess it was an insurance issue. Came with a SBC Vortec 5.7L or 5.0L engine. But I bought this one and had some issues with the engine and made plans to LS swap it. ----------------------------------- - 6.0L L96 LS Engine - 823 LS3/L92 Heads with new BTR springs and trunion upgrade - DoD & VVT deleted - Lunati Voodoo Cam Specs: Hydraulic Roller Cam. Good idle, excellent low end torque and mid range HP.
