Vehicle Overview

1967 Chevelle SS 2door hardtop. I am about halfway through a frame off total restoration. 1970 402 engine to be replaced with an original 1967 396 - 30 over engine. The new carb will now allow me to drive the car onto a trailer going to the body shop, hopefully this fall.

Future Plans

Stock restoration for the most part. Car has the original turbo 400 automatic transmission. It also has the original 273.1 open rear gear, so it was a cruiser from the factory. Since I have These original parts it only makes sense to restore rather than hot rod.
