barn find. bought as a body shell and chassis, so car had to glass, motor/tranny, electrical, just buckets of parts. spent 6 years building from scratch, frame up/off. SS138 VIN, 396 BBC, Demon carb, four wheel disc brakes, custom vintage air system, all new upholstery, 700R4 transmission. custom wheel/tire setup. used circle track springs in front to set ride height. sourced window glass from GTO. painted car copper metallic base/clear coat in my garage. i modified the garage to accept a new gauge cluster and re tooled the center to accept a custom vintage air control panel. car was originally an A/C car from the factory. Cut and buffed to 5,000 grit. shell was a no rust body that attracted me. this was the first time i attempted to build a complete car from scratch.
