Vehicle Overview

Purchased Nov 2023 as a project truck for me, my son & grandson to work on together. Old farm truck in Butler County, KY. No brakes, engine runs, body is straight, electric not too bad, interior needs tlc. Converted drum2disc up front w/2.5" drop spindles & original springs, 3" drop springs in back, all new shocks, new master cylinder w/booster. Cleaning under the hood and inside. Removed heater box and cleaned (core shot). Alternator looks newer than original (not connected to old V Reg), but not charging.

Future Plans

Install new brake lines up front (cut, flare, bend), test brake system with original back lines (eventually replace those as well). Get alternator working or replace. Replace multiple switches inside and ensure basic electric is functioning properly (headlights, signals, brakes, reverse, dash, etc.). Clean up outside paint (Patina clearcoat). Refresh interior so wife joins me when driving. Register & insure. Continue tinkering and enhancing (no computerizing!). Join some local car shows. Watch my son & grandson enjoy driving it too!
