Vehicle Overview

Truck has been in the family since 1984. It was originally purchased by my Grandfather and Uncle, and then traded it to my dad for engine work. In 2018 my dad gave it to me. I got the original 223 I6 running well, but it was tired and parts weren't easy to come by. The plan is to modernize the power train and eventually do a full restoration.

Future Plans

I'm currently rebuilding a 302 pulled from a 1993 Ford Bronco. Once the engine is complete, I'll be putting it in front of a rebuilt heavy-duty T-5 and re-gearing the rear diff from 4.88 gears to 3.73 gears. The plan is to make it practical as my daily driver. Once the GT-40p heads and headers are installed it should make around 300HP.
