    Stock 1965 Travel Cruiser falls into the hands of a fuel altered team. So we pulled two leafs from the front springs, stuffed it with a GM performance 383 with Brodex aluminum heads, Torker intake and hooker headers capped with Purple Hornies mufflers. We had switched from a powerglide to a Lenco in the race car, so the Manual valve body Powerglide went in. A 12 bolt was already in it, but we added a spool and 3:73 gears. Still has drum brakes on all four corners and has been banned from making another pass at Woodburn Dragstrip until it has a 6 point cage.

    Future Plans

    Maybe restore it to stock. Thing is crazy and dangerous at any speed.
