Vehicle Overview

Using a TH425 transaxle from a 73 El Dorado, we added a manual shift kit and a 3000 stall speed converter. The engine is a 2 bolt main block ( pre 86 ) with flat top pistons. The heads are Blue print engine aluminum heads with big valves , big runners and small chambers. Guess is about 10 3/4 t0 1 compression. The cam is a Comp Cams roller with all roller rockers etc. The lift is 510. The figures are 242 and 260 at 50 degrees lobe separation. Really great sounding cam primarily for over the road driving....3:07 posi.

Future Plans

As soon as we finish the Sniper installation, we plan on maybe 3 months of driving to make sure everything is fine and then to paint. Silver metalflake…………..bass boat metalflake. The interior is gray and black. The door panels and quarter panels are bead rolled aluminum along with the top of the console and the dash switch plate cover.
