Vehicle Overview

2017 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 Sport Coupe The heart of the Z06 is a 650 h.p. LT4 Supercharged Engine which this “owner” hand assembled at GM’s Bowling Green Kentucky Plant by selecting PBC Engine Build Experience on the order sheet. The engine was completed April 25, 2017 and roared to life on the dyno. The three days following, the owner walked along with his Z06 as it moved down the assembly line as part of another rare option, the PD5 Buyers Tour. Then on April 28, 2017 the owner climbed in with zero miles on the odometer and pressed the starter button, and then drove to the end of the assembly line as only 22 other enthusiastic owners had done all year. When this Z06 was initially configured much thought went into selecting every detail. Controlling massive power to the rear with an Electronic Limited Slip Differential, the M5U Paddle Shift 8-Speed Transmission was selected. To bring the power and speed to a quick halt, optional J57 Carbon Ceramic Brakes were chosen. Also included a premiere 3LZ Interior with AE4 Competition Sport Bucket Seats featuring controllable heating and cooling. Also the PCX Z06 Appearance Package was chosen. The Performance Aero Package from the Z07 option was installed to keep the machine firmly planted to the ground at high speeds. To contrast with all the Carbon Flash Aero Trim, the Q6B Chrome Z06 Wheels and EYK Chrome Badge Package were selected for adding some exterior bling. I feel the Long Beach Red Tint-coat exterior color also contrasts nicely with the Kalahari Napa Leather Interior Trim. In summary this Z06 not only looks good, it truly performs like a world class super-car. The Z06 in this configuration is capable of 0-60 mph in 2.95 seconds and can stop from 60 mph in 90 feet! Top Speed with the ground hugging aero package is 195 mph and can pull over 1.2 gs on a skid pad. Also the LT4 Engine uses cylinder de-activation swapping to a 325 h.p. V-4 for enhanced fuel economy over 24 mpg!
