  • Vehicle Overview

Originally an untouched 1968 Firebird Sprint. Swapped the tired OHC6 for a SBC Chevy 350 HO with FiTech EFI. Swapped out the 3 speed for a 4 speed. Installed full compliment of Auto Meter gauges. Global West front suspension with coilovers. CPP disc brake conversion. US Mag Rambler wheels. Topped it all of with a Trans Am hood. It's a nice driver. It doesn't have high power, but it is has plenty of pep.

    Future Plans

I would like to upgrade the rear end. The BOP 3.55 posi is fine now, but not for any power upgrades. After a rear end then I can think about a power upgrade. I've always liked big blocks and would love having a 427 BBC. I just like the sound of that number.

My first car was that same configuration and color. I converted to 400 with turbo 400 back in1979 and regretted it later. Would have loved to grab the Sprint before you modified. It does look nice.
