  • Vehicle Overview

It was an original half ton platform stakeside. Of 117,587 units made, 972 were stakesides (numbers thanks to The Henry Ford). I bought it in a wrecking yard for $50 in 1975 because I had never seen a flatbed! It has a 30 over 390, 428 CJ intake with Holley carburation, C-6 auto, Ford 9" rearend. '69 Lincoln front disc's. Full tilt steel front group with Dakota Digital actuators. Color is factory Ford Moonlight Blue; from 1995. We have been blessed with awards from Obsolete Iron Car Club and The Reno Rodeo, both from Reno. Sparks City Celebrity Award at Hot August Nights in Sparks, Nevada. We made the "Top Gun Ford" from the American Legion Unit 81, Boulevard BEST and Exceptional Restorations from Arizona Hot Rods Network, all in Lake Havasu City, AZ.

    Future Plans
