  • Vehicle Overview

I am the 3rd owner of the truck. It started its life as a farm truck in Eastern Washington. The second owner had it for 25 years using it primarily to haul airplane fuel for his small single engine plane. During the time he owned it he replaced the straight 6 & Manual 3 speed with a 289 hypo & C6 auto then after losing that motor he replaced it with a stock 351W. I pulled the 351W and rebuilt it going 0.40 over with all aluminum top end using Edelbrock E Street heads and RPM Performer intake manifold topped off with a tried and true Holley 650 double pumper. I converted the ignition to MSD billet aluminum distributor and 6AL ignition box. I also relocated the fuel tank from behind the seat to up under the bed of the truck. I used Sanderson block hugger headers, Hooker exhaust bypasses and Flowmaster Super 44s for the exhaust system (sounds amazing!) Outside of the block machining, transmission rebuild and the exhaust installation I have done all the work myself - been a fun project so far.

    Future Plans

I plan to redo the upholstery this winter and although it drives great I am considering converting the front end to a mustang set up primarily for the disc brakes.
