Vehicle Overview

Alright, I guess I'll start with the motor. The block is a cast iron E9TE block that came in the truck. I had the E5TE heads outfitted with all new equipment from comp cams, titanium valve seats, everything was upgraded to the specs. of E7TE heads and valves off a 1991 gt. The camshaft is a solid hydraulic cam, it is flat tappet for the truck crankshaft and harmonic balancer. It has a full Edelbrock Performer RPM II 5.0L Intake Manifold and EFI intake setup (I painted it Ford Blue) from a 1991Mustang GT, with billet aluminum valve covers painted correct Ford Metallic Gold flake. It has mass air flow also from a 91 Mustang GT. On the inside I used a dash pad from a 94 f-150 to complete the SVT lightning look, and bucket seats from 2001 mercury mini van van; and, I installed a B&M unimatic floor shifter. The body needed (and still needs some TLC) but I replaced both front fenders, the driver door, much of the floor in the cab - just too much body work to list. Lots of panels from LMC truck. The entire bed is all pieced together from LMC truck. It still has a stock Limited-Slip Ford performance diff. unit. There is a heavy duty ring & pinion in the housing, but I kept the stock 3.55:1 ratio. I also installed a 3 inch drop shackle kit in the rear, both leaf springs are new, and all the stock mounts have had the stock rivets drilled and re-tapped to accommodate the new heavy duty grade 8 fasteners and 1/2" stud bolts. There is a KYB power steering damper added to the truck also.
