  • Vehicle Overview

I'm the second owner of this wagon and it was my first car at 15 years old. I learned how to work on cars with this one and rebuilt the original 170 c.i. inline 6 to get it on the road after sitting in the woods for 20 years. After several iterations of rebuilds, paints and repairs, I finally have the car I've always wanted - a unique hotrod that is a blast to drive. The car is now riding on a TCI front IFS (2" dropped spindles) and 4-link rear suspension and Wilwood disc brakes all around. Ridetech adjustable coil-overs are handling the bumps and turns. The wheels are 17x7 front and 17x8 rear American Racing Rodder Vintage. The power plant is a 351W with an Atomic EFI setup backed by a TCI Streetfighter AOD 4 speed transmission and 8" rearend with 3.73 gears. Custom stainless steel exhaust and Gibson mufflers make it sound just right. The interior was custom made with a center console and Procar Lowback seats up front and the original bench seat in the back. A new Ron Francis wiring harness takes care of the electrical needs and feeds the Dakota Digital RTX vintage style gauge cluster. The paint is Tahoe Turquoise from a 66 Mustang and Eclipse Gray Metallic from a 2015 Mini Cooper with a AF/X style hood from Crites Performance. The build was done by the amazing and talented builders and craftsmen at Alloy Motors/Driven Garage out of Oakland, CA.
