  • Vehicle Overview

My dads truck who owned it since 68'. It was the one material thing he never let go of. After many years of being his dual purpose hot rod / work truck he went to making a show truck of it back in the 90's. I remember the extra bedroom full of trophies everywhere. His goal was to get into a magazine and he eventually got in two as small articles but he was thrilled. The truck had always been a smallblock truck and has had a seriously uncountable amount of them in it. Once my dad passed away and my brother and I inherited the truck we started putting small touches that reminded us of the days growing up as a kid. That is where the slot wheels are from. I always recall seeing them coming as he turned on our street after work. The BBC swap was just a desire for power from us. We had a plan to keep it somewhat street-able so we could still take it to some cruises and a few shows as our dad would have loved to see it still on the road. I think we may have went a little to radical but we enjoy working on it talking about dad and enjoying memories. Currently engine has a .100 over 454 GM block with a 4.25 stroke crank. (505ci) Forged Probe Pistons on a set of 6.385" Scat H beam rods. Some old school Brodix BB2 heads ported and all the details done by a good friend David Schiwezer. The cam is a solid roller Lunati part number 50204. Intake is a Edelbrock 2907 Victor 454-R with a 1150cfm Dominator tuned by ProSystems. This has a TH400 with a PTC converter behind it. Currently feeding the original 12 bolt with 3.73 gears. Suspension has dropped spindles up front but the rest is all factory.

It’s my opinion that a Holley terminator x is far superior to any FiTech unit
      • I am not doubting you at all. However the Terminator X still requires a intake, a throttle body, and 8 injectors I wish I had. I through trading acquired the FiTech 1200 unit and have had exceptionally good performance so far. So at this point I don't see any reason to change it. If I start having any issues I will be trying to get into a individual runner system. Thanks for the comment.
