Vehicle Overview

It's an original Super Bee that I got out of No.Carolina and needed an extensive Resto. The frame and most of the body parts were ok,except for the rear quarters, that had to be replaced because of a side hit sometime in it's life and was poorly straightened and bondo'd. So we decided to go with new quarters on both sides. It's not a numbers matching Bee,so it gave me a little more liberty with the restoration.I had the rally dash restored by Instrument Specialties and went with White face on the gauges and a real wood steering wheel.Gave it a little more modern look, and looks great too.I built it to drive it,so I put extensive Dyna-Mat on the floors, inner firewall and behind the rear seat for a little quieter ride, and to keep the heat out.I had the Holley carbs rebuilt by Big's Performance in Altoona Wi. ( the best Carb people around )Changed the rear gear to a 3;23 Sure-Grip and if I keep my foot out of it I can pull 15 MPG down the road. It's a blast to cruise in.It was featured in Hemmings Old Cars Monthly in Nov. of 2016

Future Plans

Just to keep it enjoying it on cruises and car shows, and keep it running and looking good using Holley Performance Products.

Beautiful car, my favorite! I have an A-12 clone in the works, originally a 383 Bee.

Beautiful! In the early '80s, I had 2 all original 69 Super Bees, both 383 / 727 cars. Sure wish I still had them!!
