Vehicle Overview

Bought new in March 1070 and drove it for about three years. Parked it in a garage at 26,000 miles for 45 years. About two years ago my buddy Tim said come on man let's get that car on the road. Engine rebuild by Dons in Kenosha (specializes in AMC engines for 50 years), Bullet solid lifter cam, SS valves Exh increased to 1.68, Diamond pistons (10.5-1), aluminum flywheel, Center Force Clutch, MSD 8523 distributor, Holley 750 CFM carb, custom 7 quart oil pan with external feed, rear head drain backs to oil pan, and Hooker headers (too big, too long, too hard to install, but not many other options). Replaced shocks, rebuilt rear brakes; front discs, caliper, and master brake cylinder by Wilwood. Rare AMC go pak gauge set in custom walnut dash (origin dash in basement); NOS crash pad. Hardest part of the project was removing and replacing the crash pad and new dash. Estimated value $25,000.

Future Plans

Finish dash installation; headlight switch is a challenge. Need someone with baby hands. New exhaust and adjust valves.
