Vehicle Overview

1959 Ford Custom 300 originally a beige 223 6 cylinder 3-speed on the column car. Added disc brakes to the front and a Wilwood master cylinder. Converted to a 302 V8 and a 5 speed with a 3.50 posi 9" rear end (all the big 50's cars came with a 9"). Later stroked it to a 347 and then grenaded the rear end, then broke 2 cranks (she does awesome burnouts!) I went to a Blueprint Engines 408 stroked Windsor and a AOD from Jegs. Flowmaster headers, Edelbrock Air-Gap intake, Smithy's mufflers and Borgenson power steering.

Future Plans

I'm working to restore the interior to original except for the Lokar shifter for the AOD, bench seat and all, it has a custom interior in it now. The big addition will be the Holley Sniper EFI with the Hyperspark distributor and ignition box ans swap out the Edelbrock Air-Gap manifold for a Performer RPM for hood clearance.
