Vehicle Overview

My favorite cars since I was four, the 1963 Dodge Polara! This began as a 61,000 actual mile original with a 318 poly I donated to a kids 64 Savoy project. I always wanted an early BBody I could drive anywhere at highway speeds, with the a.c. on. A retired Boeing engineer began the build, he had a couple 66/67 he liked best, he sold me this Polara drop top, the K member, and all the other big block pieces, I had the 400 BB from a cop car, my machine shop bud added and machines/ rebuilt Blk 906 heads, the motor has 9.5:1 pistons, all the inners is from Mancinis, and a Comp Cam. The Torque Flight and 2:90 rear is courtesy a ‘1965 Coronet parts car, all completely rebuilt. Chattanooga driveline made a brand new aluminum driveshaft. The Mancini Super Stock rear Springs are moved in 2” and frame connectors were made. Wheel Vyntiques 15x8 rear off set to the inside, and 15x6 front with Mancini SS from springs, Vintage air and Heat blowing through the original 1963 Dodge air vents. The Polara was bought new at Dana Bros Chrysler/ Dodge in Tempe Az, and was ordered with factory Air which meant you also got tinted windows, a large cooling system, and a larger alt and wiring. which was upgraded further. I drive the care all the time!

Future Plans

I’m narrowing the Holley Carb selection to replace the Rochester. There’s several other plans some w/strip, carpet, under carpet Heat shield, new tires.
