In 1969, the Chevy II name was retired and the Nova was now a standalone model. The X-Body's 111-inch wheelbase made the Nova one of the smallest muscle cars to ever emerge from Detroit. With several small and big-block V8 options, the Nova packed a big punch in a small package.
