The Dodge Charger resurfaced in 1983 as a much different car from the last time we saw it. With power now being directed to the front wheels, the Charger was significantly lighter and more efficient to cope with the times it was born in, albeit at the cost of performance. Luckily, Carroll Shelby was able to get involved and remedy the lack of performance.
