The OEM charge path is built around a small, restrictive 38mm pipe and plastic components that can melt, deform, or develop boost leaks under extreme conditions. APR’s Charge Pipe System was built to perform, replacing the factory components with larger 60mm aluminum piping and a reinforced, multi-ply turbocharger outlet hose. This creates a stronger and less restrictive airflow path from the OEM turbocharger to the throttle body.
Thin-wall aluminum construction maximizes the internal diameter without compromising strength, while APR EZ-Flow stepped-lip hoses create smooth transitions between each hose and pipe. A fluorosilicone inner hose surface provides added resistance to heat and chemicals, and Clampco T-bolt clamps deliver a strong, leak-resistant seal at all contact points. Bead-rolled pipe ends prevent hose slippage under boost, while TIG-welded brackets and a billet-aluminum MAP sensor bung ensure precise, factory-style fitment. Finished in black, the system installs directly with the OEM turbocharger and APR or OEM intercooler and throttle body hoses. APR recommends upgrading both the intercooler and throttle body hoses for maximum performance and reliability.
