2013 SS Camaro Install

I installed the MSD 2 STEP #8733 in my 2013 SS Camaro with an automatic transmission. I attempted to connect the 12 volt activation wire from the control box to my brake light switch at the brake pedal. So just to let all you Gen 5 camaro owners know, there is no 12 volt voltage at the brake light switch. So I had to run a wire back to my rear brake light. You may be able to connect it to the 3rd brake light wire but I'm no sure. Anyway, the 2 Step works great. It was easy to install except for the brake light switch scenario and I definitely recommend it.

Works Properly Adjustment Knobs Poorly Made

I bought this for my Silverado that I bracket race a lot the 2 step function works good. The adjustment knobs are poor because u have to have a thin screw driver to adjust the knob. Also half of the 1000 rpm knob broke off and can no longer see the pointers anymore. Wish it Had thumb knobs instead like y’all’s part number 8732. Overall the function works but the design could use some ergonomic improvements. I’ll be having to buy a new one just cause the adjusting screws are cheap and soft plastic that is been wearing more and more over last few months of using it at track. Not designed for frequent adjustments more of a set it and forget it.
