    I found Melba in Central Arkansas and thought it had bones.. I have never been a "slammed" guy but i saw and episode on Iron Resurrection about a slammed step van and I liked it. This was a US Postal Service Van, its 104" wheelbase, slant six, 727 push button and 4.10 ratio Dana 70 was the original power train. Someone swapped out the leaning tower of power for a 383 Golden Lion.. My research tells me this was only produced 1 maybe 2 years 59ish and is the only 383 RB Raised Block produced. The original air cleaner is in place (gold)

    Future Plans

    I hope to use the 383 from Tessa the Toter or install a late model Hemi and drive line from a salvage / wrecked later model Ram. I let the Golden Lion go to someone restoring that era vehicle to complete their dream. I hope to lower it, get everything mechanically sound, patch holes, fix dents, leave paint and color as is and install a good set of seats.
