Vehicle Overview

I watched this car sit for years under a carport. I would stop a few time a year and ask. Do you want to sell it. Always nope not for sale. It was my high school. I'm going fix it. Note this car hasn't moved or been licensed since 1996. My wife would always sit in the truck and laugh and say he's not going to sell it. I did this for 6 years. Then in 2019 my wife passed away. Within a week this car was listed on a Facebook sell it page. it had been listed for less than an hour. his asking price was $5000 cash. I called him told I'm on my way with cash in hand. I got this car home. I had the 396 BBC running being bottle feed fuel within a week. I knew the motor and trans would need a complete rebuild. But I had to hear it run. I drove it about 10 miles down the highway and back home. It shifted great ran fine. I felt this was a gift from my wife saying it's going to be ok. I've named my car (Mellonie ) RIP I love you)

Future Plans

I've replaced all the suspension, front, rear, with power disc brakes. I'm building a 454 bored to 468 with a Trick flow 280 fast as cast top-end kit , Wiseco pistons, Scat rods & crank, In time I'd like to go to a TKO 6 speed, A Currie rear-end, 350 Raito to 411 Raito.
