  • Vehicle Overview

This chevelle has been in the family since 1969 when my dad received it as his first car. I rode in the chevelle most of my childhood with my grandparents. In the late 90’s my grandmother gave me the car and I began to save the rotting carcass. Now the chevelle has a Holley efi equipped 427 big block that a friend and I built. It’s got brodix heads, JE pistons 10.5:1 compression, a lunati voodoo roller cam, port matched victor jr intake, msd ignition, hydraboost brakes, with Baer front discs. There’s some 1-7/8 long tubes into a 3” stainless magnaflow exhaust, the trans is tko600, and the original 12bolt rear with bigger axles and a 4.10 posi. The car was wired, exhaust welded, and a custom transmission tunnel fabbed by the always awesome Mobile Tech Lucky! I’ve got full UMI suspension on the chevelle with Viking dbl adjustable front coil overs. For shoes the chevelle wears forgestar f14s in bronze burst with 295 r18 nt01s at all four corners. I love this chevelle more than I can say, it’s truly a member of the family and has so many great memories attached to her! It’s nothing like it was when my dad got it in 1969, but it’s still in the family and it always will be.

    Future Plans

Well, in the future I’d really like to either swap the 427 for a 598 with a solid roller cam or maybe rebuild the 427 and put a single turbo on it. I plan to complete the interior one day haha! If I can afford to I’d really like to put the chevelle on a roadstershop spec chassis. Oh! And ditch the rear drum brakes for some more Baers.
