    Tim & Jolyn Haslage Sheffield Lake, Ohio 1975 Pro-Street Chevrolet Vega Wagon FRANKENVEGA Engine: 350c.i. Small Block Chevy .30 over, Keith Black Hypereutectic Pistons, Dart Iron Eagle Heads, 1.6 roller rockers. Lunati Bracket Master II Cam, Weiand Tunnel Ram intake & Holley carbs, MSD Distributor & coil. Hedman Hedders and Trans-Dapt V8 swap kit, 78 Corvette Radiator, 92 Ford Taurus fan, Dual 3" Flowmaster mufflers. Transmission: TH350 with a 2800 stall QuickDraw converter, Hurst Quarter stick shifter. Rear End & Chassis: Ford 9 inch narrowed to 35" wide. 4:56 gears. Ladder bar and Summit double adjustable coil over shocks, Custom box frame & rear clip, 6 point roll cage. Rebuilt Stock front suspension with V6 Monza springs. Pontiac Fiero master cylinder. Wheels & Tires: 15"x14" Weld Draglites & Mickey Thompson Sportsmans 33"x19.5"s out back, 15"x3.5" Weld Draglites, Kleber 145/15's up front. Body & Paint: Rear quarter panels stretched 8". Color 1987 Chevy Tangier Orange Story: We bought the Vega back in 1995 in Westlake Ohio. It came with a 239,000 mile 4CYL engine, cracked windshield, broken shocks, luggage rack, plenty of rust and peeling wood grain, all for $400. My Wife and I had our first date in a Vega wagon and now after being married since 1982, it's a fitting project. I thank God for my Wife encouraging me on this project and my Dad for his influence.
