Vehicle Overview

I've owned my 1967 Corvette since 1976. I'm the 3rd owner (and obviously I have owned the car for 44 years). The car has a 427 big block Corvette engine and a 4-speed transmission. The car has been updated, mainly over the last 8 years, or so. My brother-in-law, who owns a body shop and is a fiberglass expert, repainted the car in 2014. The interior is basically stock. All the gauges work. A friend of mine, who is a superb mechanic, has helped immensely in terms of "rebuilding" the car, even though it has always been in fairly good condition. The car is not stock (i.e., not an NCRS car). The car is set up to look good and run well and to be reliable. We wanted the car to look like it would have if someone had done a "period correct" set of modifications and upgrades back in the late 1960's and early 1970's to a C2 Corvette. We rebuilt the engine about 6 years ago (bare block on up; rods, pistons, rings, valves, valve springs, solid lifters, etc.; balanced and blueprinted). The car has a Holly Street Avenger carburetor. We have an electronic ignition system on the car. The radiator is new; we decided to put a new one in since we were rebuilding the engine. The brakes are new (lines, rotors, calipers, master cylinder). The bumpers have been re-chromed. The car has chrome Hooker Headers and side pipes. The car has Bilstein racing shocks. The car has oversized sway bars and some other handling upgrades. I just bought new tires a few weeks ago. Another way to give a description of the car is that all parts and systems are new (or close to new) or rebuilt or didn't need to be fixed. Overall, the car is in excellent condition. Again, it looks good, it starts and runs well, and is reliable (for a 55 year old car). Many thanks!

Future Plans

I will keep driving the car and I will keep it in excellent condition. I go to a lot of car shows. My wife and I take day trips in the car. It's fun to drive and I get a lot of compliments on it. Many thanks!
