Vehicle Overview

This is a 1968 Lotus Super 7, RHD, with a Lotus-Ford 1558 Twin Cam, Cortina 4 speed transmission and English Escort 3.9 differential. Purchased in 1997, driven on the street for 8 years and has been under a slow frame up rebuild since 2005. Frame has been fully restored and included SCCA recommended modifications. Frame shipped to Ontario, Canada for a new professionally built aluminum body. Now back in our shop, all new modernized electrics 90% complete. Original fuel tank refurbished with a completely sealed interior. Original brass radiator has also been refurbished. Engine was incorrectly located and mounted and now has the correct setup.

Future Plans

This winter engine being refreshed- new rings and bearings, new oil pickup. Suspension has been prepared and ready to install. Transmission to be opened up and checked.Should have her ready next spring, run in few auto slaloms and then sold.
