  • Vehicle Overview

LS 6.0 swap , 4L65E trans , TCI IFS , Detroit Speed Quadralink rear suspension , Rocket Racing wheels , Michelin tires , Holley Dominator EFI , Detroit Speed mini-tubs , many custom body mods , complete 2 1/2" stainless exhaust with x-pipe , extensively modified B&M Quicksilver shifter , etc... Body modifications consist of 68 Shelby taillights , front and rear valances. 68 Mustang dash with Autometer gauges. Shaved cowl area. 2008 Challenger headlights with custom made grille. Front stock suspension was replaced with a TCI IFS kit. This meant that the stock shock towers , cross member , steering , suspension and brakes were history. The TCI kit is a major upgrade in all areas and when you add up the cost to replace all of your stock suspension and everything else , the TCI kit doesn't cost much more . The stock rear suspension is gone as well . Everything was replaced by a Detroit Speed Quadralink suspension package. This kit was designed for the early model Mustangs but can be made to work with the 67-68 Cougar with a little redesign work of the lower torque boxes and upper frame link mounts. The rear frame section of 67-68 Cougars is approx 3" longer than that of the Mustang.
