Misleading

Web site says ready to go. Plug into computer and after updates it tells you spend 40 to upgrade. Well I did it and got nothing but a credit card charge! Don’t waste your money.

No more AFM

Worked Perfect

Bought right before the holidays and the item worked great. I was able to download the programmer and once you receive the release for your VIN it’s all good to go. I did purchase an update that was included and Diablo refunded my purchase promptly. Overall happy with my purchase. My truck runs so much better. No change in fuel economy. Throttle boost was a very nice addition.

Love the product how ever the the Throttle boost I might not have in the right setting so been trying different ones the 10 percent add is the sweet spot 0-60 is 4.9 on 93 with 4 inch exhaust and y pipe with cold air and thermostat change the truck will pull to 155 on flat service and was still going I let out. Out run Hemi chargers and neck and neck with SRT scats to 120 after that areo takes over.

I have tried all three tunes for my 2017 Sierra 6.2 and couldn't tell any difference at all in them. I ran the 87 Economy tune for 300 miles (and I babied the truck the entire time) to see if i got better fuel mileage and I went from 14.5 mpg stock to 13.5mpg tuned! Now running the 87 Performance tune to see what average I can get on 300 miles and it seems to be doing better than the Economy tune. Lol. Also would have been nice to get some options like some of the other tuners at this price!!! No way to track anything.... you cant monitor your 0-60, 1/8 or 1/4 times! I have had cheap $200 tuners that at least offered these. Was just all around disappointed in the Diablo at the $425 price tag for what I got.. :(

Woke my 2020 Suburban up

I really like the feel of my suburban now. I turned of the AFM,adjusted my tire size,did 10% on the throttle boost and did the 87 Power tune. It feels so much better now.

Bought approximately one month ago for our 5.3L Tahoe. Was able to adjust speedo for larger tires. Very easy to use. Update from computer, then use. Use a windows based computer for the update, I was not able to update using my MAC. Would buy again, very happy.

I have went back and forth for months on Diablosport/superchips or custom tuning and although my transmission (8speed) could not be tuned I love this product. Noticeable hp and tq gains and adjusting my throttle to 10% and shift firmness 1-2 and 2-1 are so much smoother and completely woke the truck up all the way around. Removing the mph limiter and afm is worth the money alone so if your on the fence especially with the 8 speed do yourself a favor amd pull the trigger!!!

Best gas mileage I’ve ever gotten! My wife even commented on how much smoother the acceleration was. I’ve been very pleased. Running the canned diablo tune on my 17 Denali 6.2L. A+!

Didn't do right

Bought it to turn off the afm. It did that but I thought it would change the shift patterns in my transmission but it didn't it made the transmission start clanking real bad gonna have to have transmission rebuilt and get a real programmer for it now

Bought this tuner for my 17 gmc 2500 6.0 was getting 12mpg getting 14 mpg with better power and changed tire size now trans feels better turned the 6.0 gasser into a beast

Misleading

Description says for GM Gas Truck 17+, but I had to pay $40 for the ability to program my truck. So I did. I was able to program my truck like says. The only real benefit I say was disabling the AFM (active fuel management) and ability to adjust throttle position. Anyways, I traded in the truck and purchased a Ford so I no longer need this tuner. Before I traded it in, I returned the truck back to stock. I just plugged it into my computer to access my account and there was an update that I didn't have a choice to do, but it did it anyway. After the update, now it says I need to pay $40 to unlock the "2017 + ECU UNLOCK (S)". I already purchased this and I have the receipt from Paypal to prove it. I was going to sell this thing to someone else with the impression that its good to go for 2017+ GM Truck and SUV's, but now I have to sell it much lower because of this. I will print off the receipt and give it to the buyer so they can deal with this company. I have read other reviews that mentioned the same thing, but figured they purchased a earlier one or cheaper one. That is why I purchased this unit, 7271 because it says "for 17+ GM Gas Truck and SUV". Does that sound like you have to pay additional money to program your 2017+ truck? Yes, it only says 17+. What does that mean to you? Program 17+ trucks? or for year 2017 and newer? The later is what I thought as well. Hope this helps you

Good tool for added power and torque, I am getting better mileage, the only drawback is not knowing how much added hp or torque. It is noticeable though, and it's worth it if you have the money.

Very Noticeable Enhancements

I have been driving my 2017 GMC Sierra 6.2 for 3 weeks now with the Predator P2 Platinum and am very impressed with the improvements. I have tried a couple settings including the 91/93 tune and turning AFM off. It is definitely more responsive and full power feels like it is right there with no lag. Fuel economy hasn’t suffered at all. I am very happy with this purchase. I want to try the Economy tune yet as well.

This is my first programer I have bought and put on my truck. I am very happy with it. I mainly bought it for to disable the AFM on my 2017 gmc sierra . It made a heck of a difference in power as well I would definitely recommend it to my friends I would like to figure out the custom tune and how to set it up for the best results I could get
