Fantastic Tuner

Love the ability to control this tuner from the steering wheel and dashboard. Works perfect, improves horsepower and throttle response very well. Love that I can turn off the cylinder shutdown!

I bought/installed the Pulsar for my 2020 Power Wagon a few weeks ago and it really woke my truck up! Plus I gained 1mpg! This thing is awesome!

The performance modes are awesome. Great throttle response and power. Economy mode is great also...I have not towed with it yet. The installation is very simple and the ability to use the non MDS mode is great. You can adjust tire size and axle ratio as well. Very simple to use

I put this in my 2019 ram 2500 reg cab long box. The truck has 6.4 Hemi 8 speed trans 4.10 gears K&N intake The performance side is a pretty big gain so I’m happy on that side of it. Econ mode at 55-65 on county highway is a huge gain on fuel mileage I get upward of 17-19 depending on how I drive Highway at 80 mph is around 15.5 16 mpg so still a nice gain. All in all I’m happy with this product it does as advertised it’s super simple to install and operate.

Check Engine

I installed and check engine light came on. I removed and light went off. Re-installed and light came back on. Removed again and light went off. I have tried to get customer support but on one is answering my phone calls or my emails.

I bought this to improve performance on my 2022 Ram 2500 Power Wagon, and to recalibrate the speedometer for the 38" tires. It took a little bit of massaging to get the tire size just right, but I am very impressed with the power levels. I run the truck on Economy with MDS on almost all the time and am averaging over 14 MPG with the huge tires! Very happy!!

Most of the claims made for this product are false. No worth the money in anyway! Don’t waist your money! The only thing that this product does that it claims is better throttle response. It absolutely does not help fuel mileage even in economy mode!

Pulsar tuner was back order, waited 3 weeks.after install using directions for 2015-2021 ram 6.4, I had to really “interpret “the manual because I own a 2021 which is slightly different. Install was easy, bought this mainly to disengage mds, did not do that. Customer service through Holley was good, returned tuner waiting now for refund. Whoever is listening and wants to make lots of money, just give us a tuner that ONLY shuts down the mds. We DONT WANT SPORT, tow haul and economy settings!

I ordered the pulsar when I ordered my truck and actually had it before I had my new truck. Install was easy and straight forward. Everything fit as it should and it is very well made. I love the throttle sensitivity on the performance mode. I wish there were a few more features on it like top speed adjustability or traction control shut off but it does exactly what it is supposed to. Tow mode works very well as does the performance mode. Don't know if I will ever use the economy mode but it is nice to know it is there. Wish it actually shut off the entire MDS system so I didn't have to do it manually every time. I am very happy with it. It makes the 2500 Ram feel like a sports car.

Wow! Really woke my truck up!

Wow, this REALLY woke my truck up, 2021 Ram Powerwagon with 6.4L. Installation was a breeze. I got a bit confused on how to show power level, but re-read instructions on how to show on dash, which was super easy, and bam, ready to roll! I keep in mainly in performance mode running 91+ octane and my truck is finally Fun to drive and I have seen a bit of an increase in fuel mileage. Eco mode is a big boost in fuel economy, but it will make you feel like you feel like you have. 20,000lb trailer behind you. But, if just cruising, it’s great. Highly recommend if you want different performance options and a super easy install.

Better than expected

I bought this with the hopes of getting rid of the MDS and adjusting my tire size. Since installing, the tire size has been corrected, mds has been deleted, better gas mileage and noticeable HP gains. Very easy installation and super user friendly.

Super Easy

This product is really easy to install and program. My main reason for purchasing this item was to be able to update my spedo to accommodate the larger tires I'm running and to turn off the MDS feature. For these features it works great! The only downside is that the canned tunes are not that great. The eco mode renders the truck gutless and the performance mode makes the gas pedal super sensitive so really the stock mds off mode is the only one to use.

I have brought my mpg up about 1.5, I can really feel the difference when I use performance mode but I do not want to run premium fuel.

Easy install, really like the fact that it can be removed if I needed to take my truck to the dealership and didn’t want issues with them. Shifting to different modes on the fly is great. Noticed a difference in fuel economy, not extensive but will pay off in the long run. When in performance mode hold onto your seat!! Great product!! 2019 Ram Hemi 6.4

Very pleased with my purchase of the Pulsar. It really woke my Ram 2500 Hemi up. Transmission downshifts are fast snd on the spot. Power has improved and really woke this big truck up. Fuel economy is 1-2 mpg better in the economy mode. Great product!
