Chris Perry bought and built his 1981 Malibu just for Holley LS Fest East 2024. The project started as $300 roller, but now it’s motivated by a junkyard 4.8-liter LS with LS6 heads, a BTR camshaft, and a 76mm On3 turbocharger. But for Chris, it’s all about enjoying the car and the friends he brought along. “I have a bunch of people here. We’re having fun and the event is just getting started.”
