Hays heavy duty Flexplate for high performance competition Chevy engines are constructed of a thicker than stock steel plate. This enables them to withstand the stress of high-stall torque converters and high-RPM engines. These flexplates are supplied with a ring gear that is securely welded in place and feature a dual bolt pattern for use with a Powerglide or Turbo style torque converter. This flexplate has a 168 tooth ring gear and fits the externally balanced Chevy 454 V8 engines. It is S.F.I. 29.1 certified and zinc dichromate plated to resist corrosion. Other applications available.
