Transformed my truck

This tuner has completely changed the way I view my truck. It has the 4.6 3v which is a huge dog from the factory, and admittedly after many bolt-on parts it still was. This tuner mostly changed that, in terms of keeping my motor revved up and allowing me to be in its prime power band more often, not necessarily making more power(maybe 5-10 peak hp gain on the 91 octane tune running 93 octane pump gas). Where this tuner shines is its three separate transmission maps, that completely changes the way the trans feels and shifts. The shifts are extremely fast and aggressive without being Jerky and power delivery is phenomenal and extremely smooth. If youre lookin for a way to change the way your truck feels and/or make it go a tad faster, this is 100% the way to go. Now my favorite thing about this unit is the sheer amount of live data that you can view at once. I just wish there was an easier way to change the color as well as more temperatures for the different fluids. Either way, 100% recommend this tuner to anyone hoping for that little bit if extra customization after doing basic bolt-on mods.

Not worth it

I've had this in my truck for a year now. It's nothing more than a fancy gauge. No increase in power, torque, or throttle response. Threw my speedo off by 10 mph with the race tune. An actual dyno was cheaper and far better results.

2000 F150 4x4... Does amazing things to this motor

Bought this on a whim... impressed. I have BBK headers with 2.5" custom exhaust w/ X Pipe and bombs... Major improvements all around... I spent months trying out every tune Combo possible... my F150 is currently tuned on 87 AVG 22/24 MPG with @ 1.20 WOT and .25 degree advanced timing. These motors love timing... just add WOT. 93 Octane tunes with 2 degree timing... when it hits 3k RPM... it's like a power band. Definitely suggest trying it out on older 5.4s. Been using it for over a yr now

I installed the Dashpaq on my 2013 Ford F150 FX2 3.5L EcoBoost yesterday along with a Banks Cold Air Intake! After installing the tuner, I ran a 0-60 test with the tuner set on stock with a 6.5 second result! Then i set the tuner to performance mode and ran another test with the result having the same 6.5 second result but only 1 foot shorter in distance! Then I installed the cold air intake and ran another test with a 7.4 second result! highly disappointed with the results! I spent a lot of money just to have features that are not impressive!

Not enough benefit for the cost

Bought it for my F150, for 2 reasons. Wanted to get bigger tires and use it to correct the speedometer. Tried every option for inputting new tire size and each was at least 5 MPH off. Stock setting was closest. Also wanted to try some tuning to improve gas MPG. The higher cost of 91 octane fuel was way more than the MPG gain on performance the performance tunes the 87 octane tune showed a very slight increase in mpg. This needs at least 5 tunes to be worth the money. No value for the cost

I called the support number at 2:45 pm to ask for help with an issue I'm having with performance upgrade parts I have add, that is stopping my tuner from changing tunes at 3:30, their business closed with me still on hold and never speaking to a real person, right now I agree with one other reviewer it a expensive gauge to me, i might change my mind after i talk to a tech support person, idk if he can help or not, bad customer support

Good: 1. Mileage Coach feature is wonderful, with instantaneous and a "rolling average" mpg that somehow doesn't decrease with idle sessions. 2. Being able to read and clear trouble codes. Which was necessary since I received a check-engine light and trouble codes after flashing my first tune (something about the ECU being de-energized too fast, which was scary). 3. Preserves stock tune. 4. Custom background image uploads. Bad: 1. Updating the dashpaq after receiving it REMOVED the extreme (option 4) tune. Leaving tow, eco, and race tunes. 2. The race tune resulted in an almost imperceptible difference in performance. Maybe slightly more "pep" in sport mode 4A. I guess the main reason is my vehicle, a 2015 F150 5.0, has the lowest stated hp/tq gain from any of the tunes/model years/powertrains. 3. The dashpaq does not turn on all the time when I use remote start, but every once in a while it does, and I can't figure out why it's inconsistent. A minor inconvenience. 4. I'm worried how long the window mount will hold up. Conclusion: I would not buy this again, a lot of money for a nice looking mpg/ecu tracker. I give 3 stars instead of 2 due to the fact that almost every other model year receives more benefit from this tuner for some reason. I am still curious if an Extreme tune exists that will "reappear" in a future update, and make my truck a little more sporty.

Better than expected
