The SP-0727 neutral safety switch and reverse light output module provides an easy 6-wire hookup. For use with GM 10L80/10L90 transmissions. This module works with GM Connect and Cruise 6L80E/8L90, and 10L90 standalone wiring harnesses as well. The SP-0727 interprets the gear position of the transmission via CANbus. The module then provides a ground output control for a starter relay to prevent the vehicle from starting in gear. This module is also equipped with an optional reverse light output (-) signal for a reverse light relay. This can be used to activate an aftermarket back-up camera and/or reverse lamp bulbs in your vehicle.
