We know how to make power on the late model Ram, and using our inTune i2 or Trinity performance programmers are a sure fire way to boost your truck’s performance. Our performance tunes made 33 HP and 28 TQ over stock on our 2015 5.7L 8 Speed Ram test truck running 93 octane gasoline, but we did not stop with just making power! Our tuning department modified the program on the Ram to enhance throttle response, revamp transmission shifting, and added tons of user adjustable performance options. With a DiabloSport programmer and modified PCM, you can calibrate the speedometer for larger tires and gears, adjust idle RPM, dial in your throttle response with “throttle booster technology”, and you can even modify performance parameters like timing/fueling/idle and more!

2015-2016 Ram Tuning Requires a Modified PCM Prior to Installation

Through hundreds hours of dedicated R&D on the new Ram trucks, we found a solution to tune them- but it’s a little different than a standard plug and play programmer. To unlock your truck’s untapped potential, you will need an aftermarket Diablo PCM to swap with your factory computer by just unscrewing a couple of bolts. Once you have installed the Diablo modified PCM, you can tune your truck for better towing power, street performance, and increased mileage!

Our solution to tuning the new Ram is a little different than a standard plug and play programmer. Unlock Your Ram’s True Potential

We can provide you all the necessary equipment (PCM and Tuner) that allows you to install a tune on your vehicle. Here is how it works:

Provide us with your car’s VIN and Odometer mileage using this order form and we will send out an Diablo Modified PCM and any tuning devices you need to tune the vehicle. You will replace the truck’s stock PCM with the Diablo Modified PCM through a simple process that should only take about twenty minutes. Once you have replaced the factory PCM, you can install a tune with your DiabloSport tuner and you are ready to go! If you need to go to the dealership for service work, re-install your original PCM and the dealer will not be able to tell that you have done any modifications. There is also an option to send your truck’s current PCM into DiabloSport for us to reprogram it for $200. While this option costs less, there are some important things to note about modifying your existing PCM. The first and most important is that sending your factory PCM in for the unlock service could take between 3-5 business days. Additionally, if you unlock your factory PCM and do not have a spare, you may have issues at the dealership if they need to re-flash for any reason. The tune selections for the late model Ram trucks depends on the type of gas you want to put in the tank. For best results, we always recommend running the highest-octane gas available, and running the tune associated with that octane rating (ex: 93 octane, 91 octane)

Designed for the maximum power, economy, and drivability gains, this tune requires users to run a minimum of 93 octane in their gas tank to see the best power gains.

91 Octane Performance Tunes (5.7L/6.4L HEMI)+13-26 HP | +15-22 TQ

Designed for power and economy gains while running 91-octane gasoline. The power is a little less than the 93 tune, but offers the same great drivability gains as the 93 tune.

87 Octane Performance Tunes (5.7L/6.4L HEMI)+8-10 HP | +8-10 TQ

Designed for better performance while running 87-octane gas. The tune enhances throttle response, shifting and other parameters to make your HEMI Ram run like a champ on regular gas!

Mileage Booster Tune(5.7L/6.4L HEMI)+2 MPG

If you’re after fuel economy this tune is for you. Our mileage booster technology allows you to pick up 2+ MPG on your stock jeep without adding a power boost. It’s perfect for long road trips or commutes!
